IR encompasses the communication process that takes place between the company and investors. This process enables a better knowledge of the company’s business activity, strategy and business forecasts, with the scope of knowingly assessing the fair evaluation of the company.
ARIR is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that was set-up to provide current and potential issuers a platform for the development of Investor Relations (IR) professionals and contribute to the implementation of best practices in investor communication and corporate governance. The founding members are BVB, ALRO, Franklin Templeton Management – Bucharest Branch, Electromagnetica, Hidroelectrica, Nuclearelectrica, Teraplast, Transelectrica, Daniela Șerban, Cosmin Raduta and Tony Romani.
Daniela Șerban has driven the project to set up the Romanian Investor Relations Association (ARIR) and is currently the ARIR President.

ARIR’s mission is to provide current and potential issuers a platform for the development of Investor Relations (IR) professionals; contribute to the implementation of best practices in investor communication and corporate governance; represent members’ interest with regulatory bodies, investors’ community and public authorities.
ARIR aims to become the main platform for Investor Relations in Romania and a tool for promoting best practices in the field.
