Daniela Șerban

President of the Board of Directors

Daniela Șerban has driven the project to set up the Romanian Investor Relations Association (ARIR) and is currently the ARIR President. She is a financial and communications professional with experience in consultancy, financial institutions and media. Daniela managed the Investor Relations and Public Relations Department at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) during 2015-2017 and held various other positions within BVB since 2010. During her term, Biznis Polska awarded BVB for the Best IR Department in CEE in September 2017. As IR professional, Daniela met institutional investors and was involved in organising events in London, New York, Tokyo, Warsaw, Prague, and Budapest.

Ana – Maria Imbrea

Ana-Maria Imbrea is the Director of Investor and Corporate Relations Department at ALRO , one of the largest vertically integrated aluminium producers in Europe, measured by production capacity and listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange since 1997 (BSE ticker: ALR). During her term, ALRO received from Financial Intelligence the award “Excellence in investors communication” in December 2019 and the Company obtained 9.5 points (out of 10) in January 2020 within VEKTOR evaluation, a newly-market index positioning ALRO as one of the Bucharest Stock Exchange top performers.

Ana-Maria Imbrea is an experienced professional in investor relations, finance, reporting, governance and communication with more than 15 years of experience and has proven success leading multiple projects involving multi-cultural teams with diverse areas of expertise. Previous roles include working in consultancy and audit within Big Four companies, such as KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania.

Since 2014, she holds the Certificate in Investor Relations obtained from the Investor Relations Society, UK and she is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK having obtained the ACCA Certification in 2012. Ana-Maria Imbrea graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest where she majored in Finance & Banking and has also obtained a Master degree in European Public Governance.

Ioan Șumandea-Simionescu

Ioan Șumandea-Simionescu is currently Expert Legal Advisor for Corporate Governance within Banca Transilvania . Ioan has significant practical experience in the field of corporate governance in the financial and capital market sectors. Also, Ioan has a vast legal experience in the field of banking law, commercial law and capital market law, participating and providing legal support in numerous projects within Banca Transilvania Financial Group, both in Romania and abroad.

Ioan is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law at Babeș-Bolyai University and a member of the Center for Company Law & Corporate Governance (UBB).

Adrian Tănase

Adrian Tănase is currently the CEO of the Bucharest Stock Exchange a position he has occupied since January 2018, and has a career of over 20 years in equity portfolio management. Prior to taking up this position, Adrian was the Chief Investment Officer for 5 years at NN Pensii, the largest Romanian private pension fund, and CEO at ING Asset Management, Bucharest Branch for 2 years. He is a member of the CFA Institute since 2009.

Alexandra Țițan

Alexandra Ţiţan is coordinating for over three years the investor relations activity of Societatea Energetică Electrica SA , company dual listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange. Previously, Alexandra held several positions in BRD-Groupe Societe Generale. She is CFA charterholder since 2016. She holds a PhD in Economics since 2018, her thesis analyzing the investors’ behavior and its impact on investment decisions on the Romanian capital market.

Tony Romani

Tony Romani is currently State Secretary at Prime Minister’s Office with responsibilities for debureaucratization and simplification, a position he has occupied since February 2020. Tony has extensive experience in the private sector, working in the capital markets sector for over 15 years and being involved in complex transactions in various industries and geographies.

Over the last 15 years, Tony has worked in the US, UK and Romania for audit and consulting companies (PwC and EY), serving Goldman Sachs, AIG Financial Products, Cerberus Capital Management, Pinebridge Investments and others. Tony also worked for the brokerage firms Freeman & Co. in New York and Silkroute Financial in London, as well as for Morgan Stanley, and UBS.

Valentina Dinu

Valentina Dinu is currently Head of Communication and Investor Relations Department at Nuclearelectrica, being responsible for the integrated communication with all stakeholder categories, including for the positioning of the company on the capital market from the perspective of ensuring the strategic function of investor relations. Valentina joined Nuclearelectrica in 2009, previously working in the academic field and media, in communication and project management. In the current position of Head of Communication and Investor Relations Department, Valentina won the BVB award for best IR strategy and was also awarded by the Capital magazine for excellence in communication management.
